-He loves to make cookies and help out in the kitchen

-He has a favorite blanket that he takes all over the house and in the car

-He is emotional…cries when you tell him no, or won’t do anything you ask him to do if he is upset, or will throw a control at the TV when you tell him to leave the room

In our church we get baptized at the age of 8 or older.  This year Kalani turned 8 and was baptized by her father.

-loves to swim

-loves to play with Legos and really likes the new Lego Ninjago sets

-cries when she has to wear jeans and pull her hair back for her choir performances

-loves to read about her interests on Wikipedia 

-wears the same dress to church every week…although she has others to choose from

-makes friends easily even while we are traveling

-loves to cuddle with her parents

-hates having her brother play in her room and getting into her things

My sister celebrated another birthday this past year.  She is 21…again and I was able to help her celebrate it.  I found this yummy chocolate cake a few days before her birthday and really wanted to try it out.  So, her birthday was the perfect excuse to bake it.  And boy was it yummy.  I didn’t like the buttercream that the recipe called for, but I really liked this one I found online (and I used heavy cream instead of milk).   I also made the Pioneer Woman’s cinnamon rolls.  I was quiet the baker last weekend!

Can you really have TOO MUCH chocolate?

We had a family party for her on Sunday and then went to Red Robin with friends on Monday.  Later that night we had a date with our husbands and watched Salt.

Mason Makaio Farley, born May 26, 2009.  Weighing in at 9 lbs 3 oz and 22″ long.  It was an easy pregnancy and easier birth…it only took us a few years to get him here!
